Solution Engineer - Integration Delivery

Do you enjoy turning complex integration needs into secure, reliable and production-ready solutions? At Group IT, you combine hands-on software engineering with end-to-end ownership, building APIs and integrations that support business-critical operations while strengthening a reusable integration platform.

Why Sandvik?

Here, you work at the intersection of software development, cloud engineering and integration architecture. You get the technical scope to solve immediate delivery needs while helping shape standards, automation and reusable platform capabilities. By joining Sandvik, you get to:

  • Build and own integrations from initial design through deployment and production support.
  • Work with modern engineering practices covering APIs, automation, Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD.
  • Turn delivery experience into reusable components, templates and technical improvements.

About the job

You design, develop and maintain custom integrations and APIs for business areas and projects. Your work combines hands-on engineering with production responsibility, and you ensure that each delivery follows standardized patterns for security, logging, monitoring, resilience and error handling. You’re part of the PA Engineering Platforms Integration team and report to the Competence Manager.

Job responsibilities

  • Design and develop production-ready APIs and integrations using appropriate synchronous, asynchronous, messaging and event-driven patterns.
  • Build integration logic, APIs and automation components in C#, supported by Bash or PowerShell scripting.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code for repeatable, automated deployments.
  • Implement technical guardrails for authentication, authorization, secrets, certificates, networking, logging, monitoring and policy validation.
  • Own live integrations in production, including troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, incident resolution and performance improvements.
  • Convert delivery learnings into reusable templates, platform components, runbooks, post-mortems and clear technical documentation.

Location

This is an on-site position based at Stockholm WTC or Mossvägen in Sandviken.

Your profile

You’re an experienced software or integration engineer with a strong background in building and operating enterprise integrations. Alongside solid programming skills, you understand how APIs, cloud platforms, deployment automation and production operations fit together to create stable

and maintainable solutions.

Your background also includes:

  • Hands-on experience developing and maintaining APIs and integrations in production, including API Management and enterprise integration platforms.
  • Strong programming skills in C#, with experience using Bash or PowerShell for deployment and operational automation.
  • Practical knowledge of REST, messaging, asynchronous flows and event-driven integration patterns.
  • Experience with CI/CD, automated deployments and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep or similar technologies.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms, containerization, observability, resilience, security controls and production support.

A post-secondary qualification in IT or computer science is valuable, although equivalent hands-on enterprise experience is equally relevant. You also communicate confidently in English.

Methodical and pragmatic, you stay composed when solving incidents and complex technical problems. You take clear ownership, listen closely to business needs and balance delivery speed with platform standards. Collaboration comes naturally, and you share knowledge generously with architects, platform engineers, product stakeholders and other delivery teams.
